The green button is for dimming function, and the luminous feature of this button can help you find the remote in the dark. The light dimmer is compatible with all incandescent light bulbs and some dimmable LED lights, but most LED lights and all CFL bulbs are non-dimmable, and the light dimmer only supports the ON/OFF function in that case, which may cause flickering.

This FAN28R FAN-53T ceiling fan remote control kit is suitable for replacement or upgrade of your ceiling fans, and it is compatible with most downrod style fans, but not recommended for use with hugger style fans. It is compatible with incandescent light bulbs and some dimmable LED lights, while other non-dimmable LED and CFL lamps only support ON and OFF function.

The installation is easy. First, set the same code on the remote and receiver, as it is imperative that the code used for both transmitter and receiver is exactly the same, otherwise the remote will not work. The default setting is 0000, and it is not recommended. Next, install the receiver in the ceiling fan, remembering to disconnect the power, and ensure that the electrical wiring meets all local and national electrical code requirements. Finally, install a 9V battery (not included) in the remote, and it will be ready to use.

The FAN28R receiver has a rated power of 240W, which is far beyond the general carrying power capacity, allowing you to access more light bulbs and greatly increase the receiver's life. It is suitable for Harbor Breeze, Hampton Bay, Hunter, and most 110V 3-speed AC ceiling fans.
