Just remember to set the 4 dip switches inside the battery compartment (they are hidden behind the slot for the battery itself) to match the same pattern as the old remote.

Please note that there is the same appearance of remote control with the FOR/REV button, but this is a timer function, and the two transmitters need to correspond to different receivers; otherwise, the timing and reverse function will not be available.
