The universal fan remote control kit works with most major 110V 3-speed AC ceiling fans, compatible with Hampton Bay, Home Decorators Collection, Hunter, Litex, Honeywell, Allen+Roth, Kichler, Westinghouse, and other brands. The universal remote control kit is compatible with various FCC IDs and models.

The universal fan remote control kit has a durable and small black receiver that requires minimal space for installation. It uses two upgraded relays, with the new component, the dimming function of the relay is better than the thyristor. The rated power of the receiver is 240W, which far exceeds the general carrying power capacity, allowing you to access more light bulbs.

The fan remote control kit offers fan speed control with light dimmer and wide compatibility. The remote has three buttons, one to control three speeds and on/off, and a light dimmer for dimming control. If you are using a dimmable bulb, you must set the O/D dipswitch on the remote control to the "D" position beforehand.

The remote includes a walk-away time delay feature that allows you to turn the light off but still have light within 30 seconds as you leave the room. The light dimmer works well with some dimmable CFL/LED lights and all incandescent lamps. Most LED/CFL lights are non-dimmable, and the remote only controls the on/off function, which may cause flickering when using the dimming function.

To use and install the remote, you need to set the same matching dip switches on the transmitter and receiver. The default setting is 0000, which is not recommended. The remote control uses a 12V battery, which is not included in the package.

For fans with dimmable bulbs, slide the dip switch 0/d to the position marked "D"; if you are not using dimmable bulbs, slide the dip switch to the "0" position. The receiver wires are labeled, and the wires all have the correct color codes. Connect the ceiling fan and light according to the wiring label of the receiver.

The remote control requires a 12V battery to work (NOT INCLUDED). It is suitable for ceiling fans with pull cord switches and wall switches. Please note that this ceiling fan remote does not have a reverse button, but it works well with fans in the reverse state.
