The Hampton Bay Universal 3-speed ceiling fan remote control adds convenient functionality to your ceiling fan. This replacement ceiling fan remote control kit works for most 110V 3-speed AC ceiling fans, compatible with Hampton Bay, Hunter, Harbor Breeze, Home Decorators Collection, Honeywell, Prominence Home, Minka-Aire and many more. The universal ceiling fan remote control kit includes a light dimmer and 3-Speed, as well as a walk-away time delay feature that allows you to turn the light off but still have light as you leave the room. Note: It is not recommended for use with hugger-style ceiling fans.

This remote controller is designed for 3-speed ceiling fans to separately control your ceiling fan speed and light brightness. Please note that this remote does not have a Reverse button, and the light on/off button just controls the brightness of halogen and incandescent lamps On/Off. LED/CFL lights are Not Dimmable, and the remote only controls the On/Off in that case.

The RC-72T&RC-72R universal ceiling fan remote control kit works with most 110V 3-speed AC ceiling fans, compatible with Harbor Breeze, Hampton Bay, Hunter, Home Decorators Collection, Honeywell, Litex and other major ceiling fans. It is suitable for most downrod-style fans, but not recommended for use with hugger-style fans. The remote is compatible with all incandescent light bulbs and some dimmable LED lamps, but most LED lights and all CFL lights are Not dimmable, and the light dimmer only supports the ON/OFF function in that case, which may cause flickering when using the dimming function.

To set up the remote control, 1) Set the DIP number "1234" on the transmitter and receiver to the same position. 2) The separate dial "0/D" is used as a dimming option, if the bulb supports dimming, select "D". Otherwise, select "0". 3) The default setting is 0000, and it is not recommended.

If you have a PULL CHAINS SWITCH, before using the wireless remote control, use the PULL CHAINS SWITCH to turn the wind speed to maximum and turn the fan light on. Only in this way can the PULL CHAINS SWITCH and wireless remote control be used together. If you have multiple ceiling fans in your home, please make sure that the PIN code settings are different between them, otherwise it is likely that the transmitter next door activates the ceiling fan in your bedroom, which could cause the ceiling fan to turn on strangely while you sleep.

To install the remote control, 1) Remove power from the circuit and then remove the ceiling fan canopy from the mounting bracket. 2) Set the same codes on the remote control and receiver. The code used by the transmitter and receiver must be exactly the same, otherwise the remote controller will not work. 3) Install the receiver in the ceiling fan. 4) Install a 12V battery (NOT INCLUDED in the Package) in the remote, and you can now control your fan.
